Auditor KPMG was "sacked ... pursuant to what happened", but "paid in full". Sacked?? It's all a matter of perspective. A KPMG spokesman says the firm was invited but "chose not" to re-tender for an audit. Corrs Chambers Westgarth negotiated a settlement after being told to pack up files, Silver said.
