'Crystal methodist' Co-operative bank chairman Paul Flowers given financial services ban

The judgment, which is seen as symbolic as Flowers has retired, will be followed by a new investigation into the bank's supervision between 2008 and 2013 and will put the spotlight on senior officials now at the Prudential Regulation Authority and the FCA as well as KPMG, which was its auditor.
